Lost love

It was the 15th of August.
"I'm in love with another."
Those were her words. He had just told her how he felt. How he had been in love with her since a few summers back and how he waited for the summer to come to see her again. He told her how hard it had been for him to confess it and how she had been his first true love. Her answer was simple: "I'm in love with another". Of course he knew it. He had found out a few days ago yet that did not stop him from speaking to her.
